Weddings in the Botanic Gardens
Imagine, a venue that caters for your entire Wedding Day!!
The Ceremony
There are six unique outdoor settings to commemorate your Wedding Ceremony, each with their own individual appeal and outlook within the Gardens.
Assistance is provided with, signage from the carpark to the site for your guests, transport to the site for the Bridal Party and any elderly guests, signing of the registry table clothed with linen and ten white folding chairs. We also have a Red Carpet, Wedding Arch and additional chairs available for hire and are happy to work with any extra touches you may like to add, so the site reflects what you would like for this very special part of your day.
In the event of inclement weather – Wendy Hudson, your Wedding Coordinator – will arrange, on the day, an alternative venue within the Botanic Gardens, to hold your Ceremony.
Visit Wedding Venues and you will find descriptions, complete with photos, of each site available for your Ceremony, along with a link to the Australian National Botanic Gardens so you can make the booking.
The Reception
Enjoy the privacy, as you celebrate with family & friends on the Terrace of the Café, overlooking the Gardens. Our modern Australian fare is both imaginative and fresh, prepared by professionals with a passion for fine food. Consider Brunch, Lunch, Cocktail Party, Buffet Dinner or Formal Dinner and we will assist in creating a unique experience that will memorable, for both you and your guests, for years to come.
SEATINGThe Terrace area outside the café is suitable for a formal wedding for 120 guests or a Cocktail Party for 150/200 guests. Seating is at round tables of ten and tables are covered with white linen tablecloths.
Fairy lights decorate the exterior of the café and the deck and tea lights are on all the exterior walls.
In the event of inclement weather, the café interior and exterior pergola area is available. The café interior will seat 100 guests at round tables of 10.
FLOWERS
Small table arrangements are provided for all tables. Any special requirements can be organised through our florist and charged accordingly or, alternately, you may wish to use your own florist.
WEDDING CAKE
We can suggest and recommend a cake supplier if required or you may wish to organise this yourself.
ENTERTAINMENT
You may wish to organise your own musical entertainment, either live band, DJ or pre-recorded music. We can recommend a DJ or a number of bands.
